Sensei, Tim Coulter, 2nd Degree Black Belt
Sensei Tim serves as Head Instructor of the Karate for Christ Cleveland, TN Branch. He is also founder of Karate
for Christ's Oregon Branch and is the ministry's West Coast Regional Representative/Affiliate. Sensei Tim has studied
and ranked in a variety of martial art styles and brings over eight years of experience to the martial arts community.
Currently, he holds ranking in eight traditional martial arts, the highest rank being a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Chutoku-Ryu
Karate. Other black belt rankings and teaching licenses Sensei Tim holds include those in Juko-Ryu Tai Ki, Nihon-Ryu Nunchaku-do,
and Dai Yoshin-Ryu Goshin Jutsu. Sensei Tim also holds three additional color-belt ranks, and is working toward his black
belt in each, as well as his 3rd Degree Black Belt in the core style of Chutoku-Ryu Karate.

As Founder, President, and Head Instructor of Karate for Christ International Ministries, Soke Scott
brings over 25 years of martial arts training and teaching to the ministry. Soke Scott, holds black belt ranking in eleven
traditional styles. As an ordained minister and non-practicing attorney, Soke Scott focuses all his training and talents toward
honoring the Lord and developing Godly leaders through Karate for Christ International Ministries. In 2003, Soke Scott was
recognized by the Zen Kokusai Soke Budo/Bugei Renmei of Okinawa/Japan as a Soke Shodai (1st generation Head Founder) of Chutoku
Ryu Karate. Chutoku Ryu Karate is one of the first fully Christian martial arts systems in the world with full Okinawan
certificaton and credentialing, Soke Scott also holds Dojo Headmaster and Shihan (Master Instructor) Appointments from Okinawa
certified by Juko-Kai International.
